Obituary for Carl Franklin Evans

Carl Franklin Evans III, 33, of Hagerstown MD, passed away Monday morning, August 5, 2019, at Meritus Medical Center.

Born Thursday, January 2, 1986, in Harrisburg PA, he was the son of Carl Franklin Evans JR. of Hagerstown MD., and Debra Sue Peterson and Stepfather Paul Peterson of Enola PA., and Stepmother Donna Lee Domer and husband Kenneth Lee Domer SR. of Hagerstown MD, Maternal Grandmother Mary Jane Bender of Carlisle PA , Paternal Grandmother Pearl M. Heffner of Hagerstown MD.
He graduated from East Pennsboro High School, Class of 2004. He was a member of the Army National Guard in Cumberland MD for 2 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Carl was a second-generation Dry Wall Mechanic with his father for several years.

He is survived by his 3 sons; Breese Evans, Carl Evans IV and Carter Evans, sister Carla Otto and husband Joseph of Cinnamonson NJ., Stepsister Bethany Domer and Stepbrother Mathew Domer of Hagerstown MD., Aunt Donna Evans of Hagerstown MD, Brian Snyder and wife Tammy of Harrisburg PA., Regina Halvorson and husband Nathan of Mechanicsburg PA. Several Nieces and Nephew and cousins from MD and PA.

He is preceded in death by Maternal Grandfather Donald Snyder of Dallastown PA., and Paternal Grandfather Carl Evans SR. of Wilmington NC and one cousin Michael L. Evans of Hagerstown and Uncle Richard Harvey of Hagerstown MD.

Carl will be cremated and services will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Harman’s Funeral Home at 305 N Potomac Street, Hagerstown MD 21740.

Donations can be made to Hub City Vineyard Church located at 11000 Bower Avenue #12, Hagerstown MD 21740 in Carl's name.
