Deloris Selleh (81) of Gaithersburg/Germantown, MD, left us for heaven on the 29th of January 2020. She was born on September 27, 1938 to the late Jewel and Pickard Stults in Ft. Worth, TX. Dee was a graduate of Ft. Worth's Polytechnic High School and retired from National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), a part of the US National Institutes of Health (NIH). Deloris was especially proud of her work as a Contracts Specialist on the lifesaving stroke treatment, tPA. As an empty-nester while still at NIH, she made time for college and attained her AA degree in Business.
Deloris leaves behind a beloved family that she was very proud of as well as many special friends that were like family to her. Where she couldn't be present with them on earth, her wish can now be realized through the grace of God. Rose gardens, coloring books, and cards were some of her favorite pastimes.
Deloris loved her family and friends though short changed in life on her ability to spend time with them. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her fifth baby, grandson John Thomas Browning-Elam, her sister Dollye Sebastian, brother Roy Stults, and brother-in-law Jim Gore. Also in Texas, she is survived by her sisters Evelyn Gore and Toni Armstrong, in-laws Clayton Sebastian and Ruth Stults, as well as dear nieces and nephews.
Throughout Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Texas, she is survived by those she loved most dear and dreamed of, her children: Deborah (Espey) Browning, Michael Selleh, Theresa (Mike) York, Phillip Selleh; Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren: Ted Browning, Tiffany Rowe (Kathleen, Garrett), Elizabeth (Brian) Browning-Elam (Julianna, Benjamin, Nathanial, Matthew, Andrew, Emma Grace), Amanda Rineheart (Carolina, Audrey, Cole), Katherine (Tim) Connelly (Aemilia, Eleanor, Imogen), Kyle (Jen) Kauffman (Kylie, Colton, Kennedy), Joseph (Rae) Browning, David (Meghan) Selleh, Michael J Selleh, Jonathan York, Christopher Selleh, Austin York, and Larissa York.
Deloris will be interred at All Souls Cemetery in Germantown, MD. May she enjoy a pain free and heavenly afterlife and be enabled as a prayer warrior for us all.
